Coltrane Smith

Coltane was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in May of 2014. He was diagnosed after finding a mysterious bump on his head and was not able to walk one day. The Neuroblastoma was considered stage 4 because of the multiple tumors that were found. After multiple scans, they discovered a tumor in his abdominal area, by his kidney. He has a tumor that is visible on the outside of his skull. He may also have tumors in other areas, possibly by his mandible and humerus bone. Coltrane's treatment plan will include several cycles of chemo, possible surgery to remove the abdominal tumor, stem cell harvesting and transplant, and radiation. Everything will depend on the response of the Neuroblastoma during the treatment..

  1. Justin, Sonja, Jackson, and of course Coltrane, Thank you for allowing all of us into this very painful time of your lives. I promise to continue to lift all of you up in prayer.

Sonja, you will be sorely missed at school by faculty and your students. I hope to see you back soon !

  2. Praying for your family Sonja. Praying for a mighty miracle of God's healing Grace that is so evident that even unbelievers will see it and praise and glorify Him. Praying you will stand daily, come what may, and by the strength of the Spirit say aloud "Do not rejoice over me, o my enemy....though I dwell in darkness The LORD is a Light for me" - Michah 7: Praying for the dark days to be few and for Coltrane to be well and blessed, today and always.
